Pan Dulce

A gentle, long right-hand point break that peels beautifully along the bay, offering smooth, flowing rides perfect for longboards or anyone building confidence on the wave. Ideal for relaxed, scenic sessions surrounded by jungle and sea.

Type of wave: Right-hand point (sand-covered reef) — long, mellow, and consistent.
Level required: Beginner → Intermediate (great for learning and improving technique).

Back Wash

A more powerful wave that comes alive on bigger swells, forming fast, hollow sections with occasional barrels. It’s a favorite among surfers seeking a bit more punch and excitement.

Type of wave: Right-hand reef/point — faster and steeper when the swell builds.
Level required: Intermediate → Advanced (best for surfers confident with quick takeoffs).

Matapalo Point

The area’s signature break — long, clean rights that can run for hundreds of meters when the swell lines up. Powerful, dynamic, and incredibly rewarding for skilled surfers.

Type of wave: Right-hand point break (rocky reef) — strong, long, and fast.
Level required: Solid intermediate → Advanced (for experienced surfers comfortable in powerful surf).
